Solo Exhibition: “Doodle. Drawings
from the Subconscious”
The artist has kept visual diaries, capturing her subconscious thoughts
and feelings for many years. Each entry is a simple, automatic black
pen drawing. Pages from these diaries, large-scale acrylic paintings
and mixed media collages made up the show. (45 works in total). The
visual work was accompanied by an audio piece which featured crowd
noise of people at a gallery mixed with sounds from the artist’s memory.
The show was held at the Nottinghill home of Australian art consultant
Georgie Hooper.
